Dr. Ingrid Martin - Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Ingrid joined our team in 2020, having graduated from Sydney University in 1996. Ingrid has had over 20 years of veterinary experience throughout regional NSW, as well as working in the UK. Ingrid and her family now call the beautiful Great Lakes home and was previously working in the Forster Tuncurry area. Ingrid has vast experience in general veterinary practice and is a caring and diligent vet.
Dr Karleah, graduated from the University of Queensland with First Class honours in 2007. Originally born and raised up the highway in Taree, and having spent her early veterinary career in busy hospitals in Brisbane, Karleah moved closer to 'home' and worked for several years in the Port Stephens/Medowie area.
Karleah opened the doors of Tea Gardens Veterinary Hospital in Dec 2015, fulfilling a life long dream of providing high quality veterinary care in her own Hospital.
Karleah lives with her family in Hawks Nest which includes her husband Josh her daughter Olivia and newborn son Hayden, as well as their energetic Kelpie 'Boots".
Emma Thomas - Nurse
Megan completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2012 and as been part of the team at Tea Gardens Veterinary Hospital since early 2017.
Megan has a mischievous cat called Teddy- who like chasing her down the hallway to "play". Teddy happens to be the naughtiest cat in the world.
On weekends Megan likes spending time with family and friends, planning holidays and trekking.
Emma started her nursing career as a trainee with the Hospital in 2017, she has since completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing in 2020. Emma
Emma has 3 cats; Artie, Luna & Khloe. This fur team are the most beautiful in the world. While not looking after her fur family Emma enjoys playing flute in a band and watching Netflix.
