Avian Influenza Update: Confirmed detection of High Pathogenicity Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 in Hawks Nest!!

We will no longer be accepting wild birds or pet birds into the hospital until further notice.

If you find a sick, injured, or dead wild bird:

• Do not touch, handle, or move the bird

• Keep children and pets well away

• Record the location and take photos/video if it is safe to do so

• Report it to the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888

Parking and access

Please enter from Myall Street and follow the driveway beside the hospital to our rear car park, highlighted in blue on the map.

If the rear car park is full or access is restricted, please find available street parking on Myall Street or Maxwell Street, observing parking signs.

When you arrive

Stay in your car with your pet and call us on 02 4997 1877. Let us know where you’ve parked, and our team will advise when to come inside. We can send a staff member to meet you and assist you if needed.

Reception entry is via the rear car park. If you’re arriving on foot or need help with access, please call us for assistance.
